Ouch! On September 28, 1963, Jim Morrison, the future lead singer of The Doors, was arrested on multiple charges stemming from his bad acts and over-consumption of alcohol. At the time, Morrison was attending Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. He was at a Saturday night football game, and having consumed what was described as “a fair amount of wine,” Morrison proceeded to make fun of the football players and people in the crowd at Campbell Stadium. Before the police made the arrest, Morrison had stolen an umbrella. He also stole a police officer’s helmet from a squad car. He was charged with petty larceny, “disturbing the peace by being drunk,” and resisting. If you ever find yourself in a bad situation, call Rodney’s Bail Bonds at 405-205-0603.
